The unfortunate truth is that not everyone has a robust support system.

In the absence of a strong support system, individuals facing life-threatening illnesses may feel overwhelmed, anxious, and emotionally drained. The burden of coping with medical treatments, financial strain, and emotional distress can be incredibly heavy to carry alone.

An analysis of half a million GoFundMe medical fundraising campaigns over five years reveals the harsh reality: a staggering 88% of these campaigns fell short of their fundraising goals, and 16% did not receive any donations at all. While Willie was blessed to surpass the fundraising goal on her Rally with Willie crowdfunding page, this outcome remains an exception rather than the norm for most individuals facing similar challenges.
